Spark Innovation: The Role of Intelligent Systems in Enhancing Entrepreneurial Innovation
摘要
The study aims to identify intelligent systems’ (ISs) needs, applications, and challenges in entrepreneurial ventures. The study undertakes a systematic literature review approach on 47 published works by following the PRISMA protocol. The ISs play a role in decision-making, forecasting, resources management, real-time experience, promoting sustainability, striving for competition, efficiency of operations, resilience, etc. The major applications of ISs in entrepreneurship are; new product development, real-time customer experience, forecasting trends, risk assessment, resource optimization, supply chain management, and data-driven decision-making. Challenges in the adoption and application of ISs are; high implementation costs, upskilling, training and development requirements, ethical and legal adherence, and enterprise resistance. The study is purely a literature review. Hence, it lacks the application of empirical data. The present literature review is not static and it is continuing. The novelty of this study is the filling of research gaps in existing research through a comprehensive literature examination. The study contributes to the entrepreneurship theoretical landscape by examining What? How? and Which intelligent systems applications enrich entrepreneurial innovation. The technology integration opens the door for new theoretical exploration of the identified future research topics. The study reviews the papers in various subject areas, which helps provide a holistic view of the ISs in entrepreneurial innovation. The study offers insights to academicians, researchers, entrepreneurs, and practitioners for decision-making, improvements, forecasting, resource allocation, skill development, competitive advantage, etc., for their ventures.
