All sorts of private, semi-government, and public organizations across the globe are promoting sustainable goals. Higher education institutions play a crucial role in sustainability. Sustainable higher education sustains higher education for itself and the entire HEI system. At the same time, it also promotes sustainable development for citizens and corporations. HEI contributes to spreading knowledge and skills. HEI liaises with local authorities, students, staff, corporates, and institutions for better implementation of sustainable goals. HEI can influence various levels of sustainable development goals through education, research, management, governance, and leadership. The role of emotionally intelligent and green leaders must be addressed to set an example for the world as a sustainable higher education sector.
