Chapters 1 – 4 described the rationale and structure of posture, with its research domains and learning framework. This chapter shows how empirical observations accompanied, year by year, conceptual maturation, revealing various implications for didactics, pedagogy, and learning in TS. It presents data collected and analysed between 2019 and 2022 through observation and intervention during undergraduate and postgraduate translation courses held by the Department of Linguistics and Translation (LT), City University of Hong Kong. First, the chapter generally introduces the educational offer at LT concerning translation courses in the academic years of interest, particularly the module serving as the principal learning environment and research platform. The chapter proceeds to show how, from the observations of constraints being an understudied area and of students struggling with applying and understanding the concept and its benefits for practice, the research gradually evolved into longitudinal Action Research (AR), used to improve and document teaching and learning experiences.

摘要
