This study introduces a theoretical framework aimed at examining the determinants that affect the behavioral intention to utilize automated parking systems in Bangkok. The rapid urbanization and increase in vehicle ownership in Bangkok are putting pressure on parking infrastructure. Automated Parking Systems (APS) are a potential solution to save space, but there are concerns about user adoption. This research delves into the factors that influence residential and office owners in Bangkok to consider adopting APS. Using the Extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT2) framework as a basis, trust in technology, environmental consciousness, and perceived risk of use are introduced as a mediator. The study examines how performance expectancy (PE), effort expectancy (EE), social influence (SI), facilitating condition (FC), and price value (PV) affect the intention to adopt APS, with trust in technology (TT), environmental consciousness (EC) and perceived risk of use (PR) playing the key role. The results aim to provide insights into user acceptance and offer guidance for stakeholders looking to incorporate APS into Bangkok's urban environment.
