This chapter ‘New Wine and New Wineskins’, examines the potential effects of Christian Humanism upon the Catholic school today, particularly in the nurturing of schools of wellbeing. It discusses both the relationship between Existentialism and Christian Humanism and the latter’s relationship with an authentic Incarnational Anthropology. The Chapter introduces the idea of the importance of a culture of Sacramental Encounter within the school.
