The World is numb without energy and there exist many sources of it in different forms. One of those forms is Geothermal Energy. This is being utilized in many ways to serve the purposes of humankind. Even though using Geothermal Energy is sustainable, there are cases in which it can be dangerous. There should be real-time monitoring in the region for the sake of all the safety concerns and communication should be faster and wider enough to alert the whole affected area. The implementation of Internet of Things (IoT) in these areas enhances the security alert systems which reduces the risk factor of life. The IoT sensors are capable of monitoring a wide range of parameters like temperature, pressure, altitude, release of harmful gases, etc. Those parameter values help in recognition of the changes happening, which helps in detecting the early signs of incidents that are going to happen in the future. The malfunctioning of the equipment can also be easily detected using the IoT sensors. Furthermore, the utilization of the IoT can be leveraged to enhance the safety measures implemented in geothermal operations. As an illustration, Internet of Things (IoT) sensors possess the capability to facilitate the monitoring of potentially hazardous gas emissions, as well as the detection of alterations in the geothermal reservoir that may precipitate seismic activity. This data can subsequently be utilized to alert individuals and implement measures aimed at safeguarding them from potential damage. So, the implemented system possesses the capacity to considerably enhance the operational efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness of geothermal areas. With the ongoing advancement and cost reduction of technology, it is foreseeable that it will assume a progressively significant part within the geothermal sector.
