Substation cameras are currently the most important and numerous intelligent terminals in the intelligent inspection business of substations. It has been widely used in power grid companies. Substation cameras on the market are designed, produced, manufactured, and maintained as a whole. In the practical application process of substation cameras, there are two main issues that need to be addressed: Substation cameras are mostly wall mounted or pole mounted, there are usually risks such as a large number of high-altitude operations and insufficient live distance requiring power outages in maintenance work, seriously reduced the efficiency of camera maintenance and repair. The working environment of substation cameras is relatively complex, with a large amount of electromagnetic interference in addition to exposure to sunlight and rain. In the event of damage, limited by current conditions, cameras are replaced as a whole, resulting in significant waste. A split modular dome camera has been developed to address the aforementioned issues, move the camera, except for the core and motor module, from the dome structure to a convenient location for maintenance by personnel. At the same time, design the other parts of the camera in a modular plug-in manner to avoid waste caused by the replacement of the entire camera.
