The distribution network has the characteristics of complex network structure, large volume, multiple points and wide areas, and significant differences. Its self-healing construction ensures low investment, high efficiency, small operation and maintenance workload, safety and reliability, and is of great significance for improving power supply reliability. This article starts with the tripping and self-healing actions of a medium voltage line in a certain branch of our bureau, elaborates on the current status of distribution network automation construction in this branch, analyzes the existing problems from the self-healing response actions of the distribution network, and provides corresponding solutions. The orderly promotion and safe and reliable operation of distribution network automation not only meet the urgent requirements of reliability and safety for distribution networks, but also provide opportunities for the cultivation of young technical talents.
