Zeolites are important materials for many analytical applications because of their remarkable crystalline structure and distinctive qualities including porosity and ion-exchange capacity. Zeolites show their effectiveness in a variety of adsorption and separation processes, such as gas purification and catalysis, as well as in sensing and detecting applications like chemical and gas sensors. This is because of their large surface area and adjustable pore size. Furthermore, by utilizing their adsorption abilities and biocompatibility, zeolites are essential for medicinal applications, wastewater treatment, and environmental remediation. This chapter clarifies the complex nature of zeolites and highlights their applicability in a variety of analytical fields. The multifarious analytical potential of zeolites is explored in this chapter, highlighting their importance in contemporary analytical chemistry from basic structural investigations to real-world applications in a variety of domains.
