Based on the research of the specifications, features, and application scope of the International Hydrographic Organization's (IHO) Under Keel clearance management (UKCM) information product standard (S-129), This paper analyzed the technical route, implementation method, technical difficulties, and experimental verification of implementing UKCM based on the S-100 based hydrographic datasets on ECDIS. The limitation of IHO S-129 product specification is studied, and the method of UKCM based on S-100 hydrographic data on ship navigation terminal is proposed.
