Research on Maritime Search and Rescue in Exclusive Economic Zone
摘要
Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) maritime search and rescue (SAR) operations are crucial for ensuring the safety of life at sea and the secure operation of shipping lanes. Due to the harsh sea conditions and meteorological conditions within the EEZ, there are challenges such as obstacles in accurately locating distressed ships and persons in danger, urgent response times, limited rescue resources, and difficulties in coordinating joint rescue efforts. To improve the efficiency of maritime SAR in the EEZ, an integrated framework for a maritime SAR system suitable for this environment has been constructed. This framework is divided into three main modules: the information perception module, which includes multi-dimensional monitoring information and its fusion technology; the data processing module, which utilizes efficient satellite communication and a Bayesian Network model to predict the evolution of accidents; and the accident rescue module, which integrates aerial and maritime rescue technologies along with multi-party coordinated dispatch. Based on these three modules, a framework for maritime SAR in the EEZ has been established, providing a foundation for the SAR system in this area.
