The digital transformation of railways is a complex system engineering. In order to meet the needs of railway industry for evaluating the maturity of digital transformation, we analyzed the digital transformation paths and evaluation methods of various industries and designed a digital transformation maturity evaluation index system for railway industry based on the practice of digital transformation in railway industry. The goal is to comprehensively, objectively, accurately, and systematically evaluate the digital transformation process and development level of railway enterprises. This will help railway industry find their own advantages and shortcomings in digital transformation, and promote digital transformation work more systematically, systematically, and globally.
