The existing GPS-based anti-collision methods of stacker and reclaimer are all based on manual observation and judgment of the motion mode of the large machine after the alarm shutdown. To solve this problem, this paper proposes an anti-collision motion strategy of the off-track stacker and reclaimer. Firstly, the mainframe virtual anti-collision frame was determined automatically according to the GPS spatial location information. Then, the Gilbert-Johnson-Keerthi algorithm is used to detect the collision of the virtual collision frame. When the collision of the virtual anti-collision frame is detected, the anti-collision motion strategy of the large machine based on the separation frame is used to automatically guide the subsequent anti-collision motion of the large machine. The anti-collision system based on the anti-collision motion strategy in this paper has been successfully operated in the second phase of the Qinhuangdao Port Second Company for one year, which effectively improves the production efficiency and operation safety, and reduces the labor intensity of operators.

Anti-collision Strategy of Stacker and Reclaimer Based on GJK Algorithm
