Blockchain and Internet of Medical Things (IoMT)
摘要
The Internet of medical things (IoMT) is a grouping of healthcare software and hardware that interconnects with online computing networks to access medical technological networks. Wi-Fi-enabled healthcare devices allow for the between machines connectivity that is the core of IoMT. The IoMT is making significant contributions to global medical advancements and the provision of healthcare services. IoMT's explosive growth is having a significant effect on our way of life every day. Relevant in real-life information about patients is in its place observed and handled distantly in a real-time information structure, then transmitted to a third party for future usage, including the public cloud. The network of wearable or implanted medical equipment known as IoMT constantly collects medical information regarding the individual's heath. These data are substantial, delicate, and very secure. Scientists are concentrating on employing blockchain tactics to add protection to applications related to health care as a result of the development of block chain-based technologies. However, because these two platforms have different specifications, combining them is extremely hard and demanding. As a result, it is challenging to develop a blockchain for these types of systems because sustainability is one of the key features of blockchain technology. In this chapter, we offer a technical analysis of current IoMT blockchain applications and the difficulties with integration. The unresolved problems with the use of blockchain over IoMT will also be analyzed.
