This chapter discusses privacy policy for cap table data and asks which types of blockchain platform is most appropriate for deployment of the smart contracts for SAFEs developed in this book. Both public and permissioned blockchains are considered, and it is concluded that, in the near term, permissioned chains are likely to be the most viable option, although use of zero-knowledge cryptographic techniques on public blockchains is also an option worth exploring.

摘要

This chapter discusses privacy policy for cap table data and asks which types of blockchain platform is most appropriate for deployment of the smart contracts for SAFEs developed in this book. Both public and permissioned blockchains are considered, and it is concluded that, in the near term, permissioned chains are likely to be the most viable option, although use of zero-knowledge cryptographic techniques on public blockchains is also an option worth exploring.
