The Synergy Between STEM, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship: Cultivating Teaching and Learning Through the Mini Theater STEM© Approach

The goal of entrepreneurship education is to cultivate entrepreneurial mindsets and skills, empowering students to recognize opportunities and launch their own commerce. Mini Theater STEM program, as an entrepreneurship education platform, aims to enhance the scientific and technical skills of the young generation and to equip them with the ability to commercialize their products confidently. This approach was formulated through the use of meaningful learning contexts that are related to the students’ real lives and adaptable based on their situation. The implementation in teaching and learning is integrated with science and mathematics, as well as relevant subjects such as entrepreneurship, product packaging, and theater presentation. The approach is integrated, blending content and pedagogy to foster teamwork and innovation among students. This approach not only improves grades but also encourages early-stage entrepreneurs with scientific knowledge, generating income and observing real output. The alumni’s progress is also being monitored to ensure that they can be guided to become high-quality scientists, prosumers, innovators, entrepreneurs, and researchers who can generate income while helping their families out of poverty. The recommendation advocates for the integration of this Mini Theater STEM approach within Malaysia’s educational reform.
