Empirical studies highlight teacher collaboration as a crucial predictor of outcomes across student, teacher, and school levels. Principals play a pivotal role in shaping the work environment for teachers, which, in turn, can significantly enhance and facilitate teacher collaboration efforts. Thus, the study was conducted to explore the scholarly perspectives of school leadership and teacher collaboration within the educational landscape of Malaysia. Employing a scoping review methodology, the study explored the literature in the Scopus database to review and synthesize relevant literature related to school leadership and teacher collaboration. The reviewed literature was coded, categorized, and thematically analyzed to develop key themes. The review revealed insights into the diverse roles of school leaders, leadership strategies, and contextual challenges in facilitating collaboration among teachers, and fostering a conducive learning environment. The findings underscore the significance of empowering teachers and fostering collaborative practices as integral components of enhancing the overall quality of education in Malaysia.
