摘要

Less than 1% of the water covering two-thirds of the planet is suitable for human use. Water is a natural resource and a necessity for human survival. Water scarcity, which is becoming a global emergency, impacts domestic animal husbandry, drinking water supply for humans and other water-dependent activities, and crop yields in agriculture. Future water use is put at risk, and less rain makes the water issue worse. Studies have already been conducted utilizing Technologies including wireless sensor networks, cloud computing, machine learning techniques, and the Internet of Things to address these challenges. Through the use of this existing research, we have been able to identify various gaps, such as challenges related to the safe firmware updates of field-deployed sensors and physical attacks against sensor devices located in remote field locations. Other vulnerabilities that we have identified include device cloning, network hacking jamming, and eavesdropping. The centralized traditional design seen in water management systems has an issue that makes it impossible for equipment to communicate safely and reliably with one another. We have examined previous studies and created a blockchain technology as a remedy. A distributed, decentralized ledger technology called blockchain helps to handle India’s water scarcity problem. With a suggested framework model known as the System of Integrated Water Management for Smart Cities Using an IoT and Secure Blockchain Framework, we will address the opportunities and difficulties in employing blockchain technology in water management systems in this research study. We will successfully apply the suggested framework model in further research projects.
