In the last few months, there have been several reports of fires on electric vehicles, especially electric scooters. This paper determines the cause of those electric vehicles on fire and how much heat the battery gets when charging the electric vehicle. Also, how much heat is generated when EVs are discharged has been analyzed. Essentially, the parameters of the battery, both internal and external, are what cause the heating problems in the battery. As a result, we have observed how the two previously stated parameters’ sub-parameters affect battery temperature in the proposed work.
