Provision of affordable housing had been blooming in Malaysia due to increase of the low-income population and surge in average housing estate price. Although the intention of local government and support from private sector had successfully provide numerous affordable housing projects to the market, its effectiveness, and the living condition of residing people had not been studied thoroughly. This research aimed to study the perspective of the residents on the provision of affordable housing and their satisfaction level. 112 residents of affordable house in Iskandar Malaysia had been evaluated by online questionnaire for their demographic background, current house condition and their desired improvement on current affordable housing design. The survey had concluded that safety concerns were the most desired aspect to be improved on the affordable house.
