Project Manager Competencies Determining Factors of High-Rise Building in Indonesia
摘要
The project manager is a significant factor in determining the success of a development project in accordance with Pre-determined targets. Therefore, the competence of project managers is essential to be taken into account in ensuring a more reliable level of competence of project managers in leading the implementation of high-rise building projects. There are currently three project manager competency test standards in Indonesia. The project manager competency test standards are; Standar Kompetensi Kerja Nasional Indonesia (SKKNI), or Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (INWCS), INWCS 2005, Indonesian National Work Competency Standards—Information Communication Technology (INWCS-ICT) 2014, and INWCS 2015, there are differences and similarities in the content contained in the factors–factors in the three competencies. To obtain better and more appropriate competency test standards, these three existing competency test standards are integrated into one, so that a complete and reliable project manager competency test standard is obtained. Therefore, this research is intended to provide input to the government and stakeholders, to develop complete project manager competency standards from the three existing INWCS competency standards. The results of the data analysis took twenty-two factors which were the determining factors in the implementation of the High-rise Building Project Manager Competency project and 5 experts validated all of these determinants. Then the questionnaire was given to project managers with more than 10 years experience in 5 construction companies owned by State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN). With SPSS v.24 analysis to test the validity and reliability of the data, in order to obtain 15 valid and reliable competency factors at Cronbach’s Alpha > 0.7.
