Employment is the foundation of people’s livelihood. Graduates, as the main force in the annual job market, affect social stability. Given the rapid development of computer technology and increasingly fierce employment competition, to increase the competitiveness of computer graduates in employment, this article focuses on using the school enterprise cooperation model to help computer graduates find employment. This article analyzes the current employment situation in computer-related majors, providing insights into the employment difficulties faced by graduates. It dissects the needs of enterprises and, in combination with the school‒enterprise cooperation model, develops targeted talent training strategies that align with the market demands in the computer field. This plan is implemented mainly through meeting the needs of enterprises, strengthening student participation in practical projects, optimizing course content, and establishing a school enterprise cooperation platform. The content of this study can effectively enhance the professional abilities of graduates and strengthen the core competitiveness of computer science graduates in employment.
