This research focuses on exploring the relationship between smart education and cross-cultural communication ability. This paper deeply explores the internal relationship between smart education and intercultural communication ability; innovatively analyzes the knowledge, awareness, and skills of cross-cultural communication of higher vocational students; and then explores the unique paths and strategies for improving cross-cultural communication ability in English courses against the background of smart education, including the optimization of the smart education environment and resources to create a high-quality cross-cultural communication atmosphere. It provides new strategies and methods for improving English teaching and cross-cultural communication ability from a new perspective, which indicates significant novelty and innovation.
