Mobile network technology, including fifth-generation (5G) and beyond, has greatly increased the connectivity and data throughput. A movie may be downloaded in a matter of seconds, which increases the accessibility and practicality of mobile TV and video streaming. Digital multimedia broadcasting (DMB) is in fact a technology intended to provide multimedia signals to a wide range of devices, such as laptops, PCs, and mobile phones. It has completely changed how we may now access and enjoy multimedia content on the go, including television shows. One benefit of mobile television is that it offers real-time updates. With the ability to watch live TV on their portable devices, users may stay up-to-date on news and events. There are two categories of information in the multimedia broadcasting signal, namely national and regional content. The goal of national content is to reach as many people as possible by airing it across the whole network. On the other hand, regional content is unique to a certain region or location. Additional spectrum is needed in a multi-frequency network to deliver regional content using various transmitters operating at different frequencies. On the other hand, a single-frequency network(SFN) can effectively transmit national content. An SFN that combines the transmission of regional and national data can produce a very economical and spectrally efficient broadcasting system. This is so that numerous transmitters can simultaneously transmit content on the same frequency, minimizing interference and optimizing spectrum usage. SFN utilization improves broadcasting’s cost-effectiveness and spectrum efficiency.
