In a digital world that offers open educational repositories, the following question arises: are these resources accessible to individuals with visual impairments? This paper identified and selected games developed in Scratch for teaching basic-level mathematics from Educapes, a Brazilian open educational repository. These games underwent an accessibility evaluation to assess their compliance with the WCAG guidelines for visually impaired students. The assessment revealed that none of the games met sufficient accessibility standards. In response to these findings, the selected games were adapted to align with accessibility requirements for visually impaired users. Additionally, these adaptations supported the development of a series of educational videos aimed at empowering mathematics teachers to modify Scratch games, fostering a more inclusive learning environment for students with visual impairments. The videos were subsequently evaluated by mathematics teachers, who recognized the potential of the adaptations and expressed a strong interest in further learning about accessibility.
