Urban Form Regulation Techniques for Reducing Heat Island Intensity
摘要
Based on the conclusions of the previous research, this chapter proposes three main urban form regulation techniques: First, Urban form Indicator Warning and Optimization Techniques: This technique involves developing a warning indicator system to identify areas needing improvement. Specific urban form optimization strategies are then proposed based on this system to enhance the effectiveness of heat island mitigation efforts. Second, Differentiated Guidance Techniques for Different Block Types: This approach provides tailored guidance strategies for various block types, taking into account the different correlations between urban form indicators and heat island intensity across these blocks. The strategies are designed to address the unique needs of each block type based on its specific characteristics and heat island impact. Third, Urban form Optimization Techniques for Special Function Areas: This technique focuses on proposing urban form optimization measures for special function areas. These measures are aimed at addressing the specific spatial elements and functions of these areas to better manage their heat island effects.
