This chapter aims to explore the calculation method of heat island intensity and its spatial distribution characteristics, serving as the research foundation for the entire article. It begins by discussing the inversion method of land surface temperature and the calculation method of heat island intensity, as well as the zoning of heat island intensity. Subsequently, it combines the spatial distribution of heat island intensity zoning to summarize the overall spatial pattern characteristics of the heat island from various dimensions, revealing the spatial distribution characteristics of different heat island zones.
