Osteoid osteoma (OO) is a benign bone-producing tumor typified by painful, tiny to small, well-demarcated nidus consisting of osteoid and woven bone, which is surrounded by a thin layer of loose fibro-vascular connective tissue. Most nidi are less than 1–1.5 cm in diameter with limited growth potential [1–3].
