Benign fibrous histiocytoma is a rare mesenchymal tumor composed of fibroblasts and histiocytes in varying proportions, which is usually found in subcutaneous or deep soft tissue of adult extremities but very rarely in bone of adult. Benign fibrous histiocytoma of bone (BFHB) is histologically composed of interlacing bundles of bland fibroblasts and histiocytes arranged in a storiform pattern, which is indistinguishable from fibrous cortical defects (FCD) or nonossifying fibroma (NOF) without clinical and radiologic correlation [1, 2]. BFHB can be distinguished from them on the basis of atypical locations including ilium, rib, sacrum, and vertebra and unusual patient’s age of adult [3].
