In this chapter, we show that the BRST conformal invarianceBRST conformal invariance comes out when quantum gravity is formulated as an ordinary quantum field theory defined on the background spacetime. After clarifying the difference from normal conformal invariance, we derive the BRST conformal transformation from diffeomorphism, and describe its physical meaning.
