In this paper, we have developed a multiple vacation queuing model which is subject to catastrophe. Catastrophe makes the queue instantly empty and system evolves afresh. An exceptional service is provided to the first customer of each busy period and at the end of each busy period server goes on vacation, while in operation server is also subject to breakdown. This type of systems has numerous applications such as manufacturing processes, computer communication networks and service sectors. The generating function technique is used to derive some important performance measures.
