The term “metaverse technology” refers to a sophisticated fusion of augmented and virtual reality that bridges both the physical and digital domains and holds great promise for improving healthcare delivery. The given study uses thematic-modelling techniques to examine common issues, similarities, and associations and provide insights into the metaverse discourse landscape on health. A theoretical framework emphasizing aspects such as knowledge, social interaction, digital, and intelligence is presented through bibliometric analysis. To take full advantage of this technology, concerted efforts are needed to transform service providers, build robust digital economies, and redefine socially responsible and medical thinking. The study clarifies the state of the field’s investigation into the role of the metaverse within medicine and provides direction for further research in this area.
