Trickle-down effects with the benefits and drawbacks are still up for discussion. A number of events were held during the 2022 G20 Summit in an effort to continue the trend of Bali’s tourist industry seeing faster economic development following the COVID-19 pandemic. This study provided answers to the issues of whether and how the local organizing committee (LOC) was affected in a sustainable way by the events’ stimulation. The trickle-down effect function may not be carried out by the theory of economic growth in its entirety. The irony was that it accumulated upward rather than spreading below. A mixed-methods approach was employed in the research, involving literature reviews, depth interviews, and surveys of 30 LOC located in Bali. The findings indicated that LOC was affected, but only in terms of production and technical support. The manufacturing division contributed almost half of the equipment rental segment to the growth in income for LOC firms. The majority of the projects were turned over to direct appointments and local fellows. Not a single LOC used a tender procedure to address the incidents. A number of crucial elements, including administrative procedures, training, equitable labor allocation, information accessibility, stakeholder participation, transparency, and regulatory backing, contribute to the study’s overall sustainability.
