This research aims to explore the potential of green heritage tourism in Indonesia with a focus on the area of Kota Tua Jakarta (Old City of Jakarta). The study specifically investigates the balance between conservation efforts and sustainable development in the context of green heritage tourism. A qualitative approach is employed, involving in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analysis. Key stakeholders, including local government, community members, tourism practitioners, and environmental organizations, are engaged to collect data. Thematic analysis is conducted to uncover the potential of green heritage tourism in the area of Kota Tua Jakarta, identify challenges in achieving the balance between conservation and sustainability, and propose strategies for fostering sustainable green heritage tourism development. The findings of this research contribute to a better understanding of the potential of green heritage tourism in the area of Kota Tua Jakarta. Additionally, the study provides valuable insights for decision-makers, local government, and tourism practitioners in preserving cultural and natural heritage while promoting sustainable development in the area of Kota Tua Jakarta.

This research aims to explore the potential of green heritage tourism in Indonesia with a focus on the area of Kota Tua Jakarta (Old City of Jakarta).
