Tourism village objects provide valuable assets that government villages can utilize to enhance the prosperity of rural communities worldwide. Using these assets is inseparable from a tourism object’s management strength. Management competency determines the quality of service provided to tourists. This research investigates the challenges and readiness of CHSE-based management in tourism village development post-COVID-19 in six tourist villages in the Manggarai regions of West Flores, Indonesia. This chapter used purposive and snowball sampling of 93 tourism stakeholders from the six villages within the concern as samples. Data was collected through audio-visual recordings, questionnaires, documenting, observing, and interviewing, and then data were analyzed qualitatively. The results reveal that CHSE-based management in tourism village development in the post-COVID-19 in West Flores, Indonesia, is still the greatest obstacle to accelerating the development of tourism villages. This idea arises due to infrastructure, tourist information center in tourism village, foreign language communication, clean, healthy living, a neat, safe, comfortable environment, and hospital etiquette needing to be integrated into people’s daily interactions. If this is not anticipated promptly, then the potential of these tourist villages in West Flores is merely an illusion. However, tourism stakeholders are ready to manage tourism villages based on CHSE principle.
