This chapter explores the integration of eye potential sensors with Virtual Reality (VR) headsets to capture detailed physiological data, providing insights into cognitive and emotional responses within immersive environments. Our research involved the use of advanced sensor glasses in conjunction with the Meta Quest 2 VR headset to monitor eye movements, blinking patterns, and other physiological indicators. Through a series of experiments, we demonstrated how these physiological metrics can inform the design of VR applications, enhance user experience, and contribute to the development of e-learning platforms. Additionally, we delve into the ‘fight or flight’ response theory to underscore the importance of physiological measurements in understanding psychological states. This chapter highlights the potential of combining VR with real-time physiological data to create adaptive, personalized learning experiences that can overcome traditional educational barriers.

摘要
