VisioLock: Protecting Homes with Advanced Facial Recognition
摘要
This paper uses facial recognition technology to create an advanced home security system. The system aims to enhance access control for homes and businesses by incorporating the OpenCV library. Inspired by previous Raspberry Pi-based models, the research aims to refine existing designs, emphasizing functionality and affordability. Key features include real-time user notifications, a comprehensive entry database, and a shift to Arduino UNO to improve cost-effectiveness. Additionally, voice output capabilities are introduced to improve user interaction. These enhancements aim to make the system more secure, accessible, and user-friendly. Ultimately, the paper aims to contribute to developing smarter, more efficient security systems for residential and commercial spaces.
