In this article, we have proposed a new concept of a quadripartitioned neutrosophic hesitant fuzzy set which has the properties of two important theories: Neutrosophic hesitant fuzzy set and quadripartitioned neutrosophic set. Further, some basic properties (union, intersection and complement) have also been explained in detail, laying the foundation of the concept and making it helpful for many researchers to conduct further studies. In addition to this, the score, certainty and accuracy values have also been obtained. The applicability of the new concept has been validated with the help of a numerical example based on the pattern recognition problem.
