This paper is meant to illustrate the multidimensional potential of AI applications in the area of public administration and to point out the broad spectrum of benefits that this technology can bring. It includes AI systems in the public administration. The pros and cons of AI in public services are discussed in the paper. Hence, the article highlights the problems related to the government’s adoption of AI which involve data security concerns, algorithmic bias, resource constraints, and change management. In the paper, the future research topics are AI regulation, its application in policy making, and disaster response use. The paper presents two case studies that are the best examples of the AI implementation in healthcare optimization and public safety. This survey gives governments a number of options on how to apply AI. Insofar, the paper intends to explain conceptional and possible uses of AI in public administration and to show the huge range of opportunities that AI may offer. The main purpose of the given paper is to illustrate the potential of the AI technologies in terms of possibilities within the context of the public administration.
