In this paper, the controller for the attitude maintenance of low altitude pitch angle, roll angle and yaw angle at low altitude is designed based on the PID algorithm. Firstly, the mathematical modeling process of the quad-copter UAV is given, then the fractional-order PID algorithm is introduced, and finally, the control system of the UAV is simulated by MATLAB/Simulink. This paper proposes a UAV attitude control system based on the fractional order PID controller to solve problem of poor anti-interference performance of the traditional attitude control system.
