After the COVID-19 epidemic, urban areas have focused on restoring and enhancing vitality. Self-media bloggers have emerged as pivotal in this process, leveraging their platforms to promote urban development, tourism, and culture. This study examines Zibo City in Shandong Province, China, which has recently surged in popularity both online and offline. It assesses the impact of self-media bloggers on urban vitality across social, economic, and cultural dimensions, using metrics like likes, collections, comments, and forwarding. Data was collected and analyzed using Python, correlating social platform comments with government-released data. Results indicate: (1) Self-media bloggers significantly enhance urban vitality, with retweets notably influential. (2) Positive correlations exist between blogger influence and cultural vitality. (3) Short-term increases in blogger influence promote economic vitality. These findings provide actionable insights for city managers, highlighting the role of self-media bloggers in attracting offline tourism and bolstering urban vitality.
