On October 24, 1906, Huang ZuolinHuang, Zuolin was born in a family of foreign bank employees in Tianjin, his ancestral home was Panyu, Guangdong. In 1925, he began to study business at the University of Birmingham in England, where he studied under George Bernard Shaw and began to get involved in drama. During his time at school, Huang ZuolinHuang, Zuolin wrote and directed the one-act play “East and West”.
