A highly qualified and experienced school-teacher, Dr Seeta Jaikaran-Doe took an interest in engineering education when she married the author of this book and immigrated to Tasmania in 2012. Previously she had worked as a special needs teacher in her home country of Trinidad and Tobago, and in the USA and Kuwait. She was awarded a PhD by UTAS for her study of the confidence of teachers to use Information and Communication Technology. This led to collaborative research into the effectiveness of the delivery of content to undergraduate engineering students at UTAS and at universities in China. This chapter comprises the eulogies delivered by her husband and daughter at a celebration of her life attended by family, friends, and colleagues following her death in September 2021.
