The concept of data fusion was proposed as early as the 1970s. With the rapid development of science and technology, especially in the military field, there is a growing demand for information complexity and high certainty in processing results. Meanwhile, in industrial control fields, there are serious problems such as a large amount of data and overloaded information. There is an urgent need for effective approaches to process, interpret, and evaluate of information. This has made people increasingly aware of the importance of data fusion and promoted its development.
