This paper reviews specimens made of composite materials reinforced with continuous fibers, including carbon, fiberglass, Kevlar, and short fiber composites made using fused filament fabrication (FFF). The mechanical properties of these composites are affected by various factors such as the kind of fiber, volume fraction, orientation, and fire layer distribution, construct orientation, infill pattern, number of walls & infill density, etc. The previously listed characteristics are essential to achieving strength and complex geometries. A discussion of the most recent sophisticated composite materials used was also included in the literature.

摘要

This paper reviews specimens made of composite materials reinforced with continuous fibers, including carbon, fiberglass, Kevlar, and short fiber composites made using fused filament fabrication (FFF). The mechanical properties of these composites are affected by various factors such as the kind of fiber, volume fraction, orientation, and fire layer distribution, construct orientation, infill pattern, number of walls & infill density, etc. The previously listed characteristics are essential to achieving strength and complex geometries. A discussion of the most recent sophisticated composite materials used was also included in the literature.
