This chapter analyzes the evolution of the women’s empowerment Policy in Qatar. As early as 1954, women were given the right to education; in 1999, they were given the right to vote, and since then, the involvement of women in political institutions increased. The state of Qatar has been broadly advocating the empowerment of women, which is highlighted in the Qatar National Vision 2030 and Article 34 of the Parliament Constitution, which state that the citizens of Qatar shall be equal in public rights and duties. This chapter aligns the Women’s Empowerment Policy with Qatar’s socioeconomic and political growth. It delves into the institutional actors responsible for tailoring the policies. Moreover, it emphasizes the importance of women’s empowerment research and publications by addressing the significance of local research centers such as the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies and the Women’s Center at Georgetown University in Qatar. This chapter recommends increasing women’s access to financial resources and technology to increase their empowerment.
