This systematic review explores the integration of Business Intelligence and Operations Research in supply chain management. The study investigates how Operations Research enhances Business Intelligence capabilities in supply chain management by providing mathematical models and optimization algorithms, enabling better predictive and prescriptive analytics. Additionally, it examines how Business Intelligence supports decision-making processes and operational optimization by offering real-time data analysis, allowing for swift adjustments in supply chain operations. Furthermore, the review addresses the role of Business Intelligence in promoting sustainable supply chain management practices by incorporating sustainability metrics alongside traditional performance data, facilitating the adoption of environmentally and socially responsible strategies. The findings show the importance of Business Intelligence and Operations Research as complementary tools in achieving more efficient, agile, and sustainable supply chains. Future research directions are suggested, particularly focusing on bridging existing gaps in the literature and advancing the practical applications of these technologies.
