Employer branding highlights what makes a company appealing in the recruitment and retention process. Therefore, organizational attractiveness is closely tied to effective employer brand management. This study explores organizational attractiveness and its impact on the intention to work for a company, considering both current employees and potential candidates. Additionally, it examines how the adoption of technology influences perceptions of organizational attractiveness. Using a quantitative approach, data was collected through an online questionnaire (n = 152), predominantly from Generation Z in Portugal. The analysis, conducted via partial least square structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) with Smart PLS, reveals that organizational prestige and technology adaptation positively affect organizational attractiveness, which in turn influences the intention to work for the organization. The study offers practical insights for managers, marketers, and HR professionals by demonstrating how organizational prestige and technological adaptation can enhance an organization’s appeal to current and future employees, leading to more effective strategies for attracting and retaining top talent. This research is one of the first to combine employer branding with the drive for innovation empowered by technology adaptation.

摘要

In today’s competitive global economy, organizations must leverage every possible tool to create competitive advantages, not only through their products and services but also by building a strong employer brand. A well-crafted employer brand gives organizations an edge in attracting and retaining the talent they need.
