Essential measures include bolstering funding for urban climate change programs, enhancing city form and structure, and boosting Nantong’s resilience to climate change. A better understanding of the spatiotemporal features of urban development and an assessment of the effects of climate change on population urbanization can shed light on how to create resilience and achieve sustainable growth. Nantong could improve its climate resilience and address the challenges of climate change by using resilience assessment and planning models and methods.
