摘要
Metallized film capacitors (MFCs) are widely used in the conditions of power conversion, such as high voltage direct current (HVDC), renewable-energy generating and hybrid electric vehicles driving (Xiao et al. in IEEE Trans. Dielect Elect. Insul. 31:666–673, 2024). PP possesses the characteristics of facile processability, high withstand voltage strength, and outstanding charge–discharge efficiency, which makes it the most popular dielectric materials in the field of advanced power and electronics systems (Xiao et al. in IEEE Trans. Dielect Elect. Insul. 31:625–632, 2024). With the continuous improvement of voltage level and the thirsty demand for miniaturization of power facilities, the approach to manufacturing advanced metallized polypropylene film capacitors with higher electrical strength has been attracting increasing attention from scholars (Ritamki in IEEE Trans. Dielect Elect. Insul. 26:1229–1237, 2019).
